I've used Sandisk cards for a couple of years now and highly recommend them. I have four 8 Gb Extreme III cards that I used with my Canon 40D that provided trouble free operation for over two years and 100,000+ images. I recently upgraded to the Canon 7D and knew that I was going to need faster, larger capacity cards to shoot our kid's sporting events. The 16 Gb Extreme cards fill the bill and work perfectly. When shooting in full raw mode one can get approximately 600 shots on one card (for me this is typically enough for one half of a soccer or lacrosse match - I know, I probably shoot far more than I should). The buffer in the camera writes to the card quickly and I've not yet experienced a point where the buffer has filled waiting to write to the card. I've not attempted a full high speed sequence to try to fill the buffer but have shot numerous 6 to 8 shot sequences during those games and watched as the burst counter quickly increments in the viewfinder. I can't really comment on the video performance with these cards. I've only taken a handful of very short videos with the camera and didn't buy it for that capability.

I take a ton of pictures and at times I am just snapping away and I can not afford to have a card that is slow. In my opinion this card is fast and does not slow me down.

The fastest of my several SanDisk cards. I use it with my Canon 5D Mark II. It is excellent, fast, reliable, and has lots of room. This is especially helpful since the Canon 5D Mark II creates huge files. I am very satisfied and will be ordering another card tonight.

Bought this for my Nikon D300s. It has 1,400 photo capacity at fine/large jpeg setting. Wanted plenty of memory to also shoot video if needed. Works great with fast access and photo download speed.
