I have gone through 2 pairs of Sennheiser CX300's, and don't love how the cord on them has "memory" and stays curled up, so I thought I'd give these JBuds a try. I knew they were only $15, so I gave them some leniency. I don't know what's wrong with my ears, b/c no one else seems to have this problem, but I tried all 3 rubber gaskets and none did anything at all to seal off sound. When I put in my Sennheisers, it's like wearing earplugs (I sleep with them sometimes even with the sound off to use them as earplugs). For some reason with the JBuds, I get absolutely no seal, and believe me, I tried. Second, the sound is flat, has no depth, the highs are muffled, I can't hear low frequency sounds at all. I thought I was imagining it and put my Sennheisers back in, and back came the low bass and better balance of mids and highs.
The other reviews seem to indicate that these sound similar to the CX300's, but to me it's like night and day. I would pay 4x as much for the CX300's if I had to...but I don't. |

I bought these as a replacement for the basic earbuds that come with the ipod. I wasn't expecting too much from earbuds, but OMFG!!! These truly change the listening experience & delivered a robust sound that will best most home theaters. Can't go wrong with them.
P.S. Be careful with these earbuds, they will allow your mp3 player to go to 11. |

I have pretty small ears, and I can't wear the standard apple headphones for more than a few minutes before my ears hurt. These headphones I've found to be extremely comfortable for hours on end. I'm not a huge audio-quality buff, but to me these headphones sound great and satisfy all my music-listening needs. They also automatically give you a 1-year warranty and will send you a new pair to replace a broken one if you just ask!
I'm very happy and have given these to my entire family. |

I usually don't do reviews on Amazon, but I'm very disappointed with this item that I thought I would share my opinion. I wanted a new earbuds for my Iphone because the one that comes with the phone doesn't fit my ears very well. Because of the shape, the Jbuds fits me very well and it doesn't hurt my ears at all even with a prolonged use.
I use the Jbuds everyday. Taking it in and out of the iphone maybe 2-3 times a day. After only 2 months I noticed that the sound is breaking up. I tried twisting the jack and it fixed the problem. The problem became worst. Now I have to constantly play with the jack because it doesn't fit in the iphone correctly anymore. The problem is NOT with the iphone because the problem disappears when I put in the old earbuds from iphone.
I would suggest to find other brand. |
