While well constructed, the J2's are some of the WORST sounding earbuds I've ever had the misfortune to waste money on. They are hard to fit in your ears, and the "engineering" that went into these puts the driver in some kind of tube. The effect is that sound is muffled, hollow, and the audio experience is just poorly crafted. Trables are harsh, mids are non-existent, and bass is a distorted mess.
If you have any respect for yourself, and your ability to judge sound, stay FAR FAR AWAY from these buds. They are AWFUL. Sorry Jbuds, this is an epic fail. |
| Sound lose after a month and no customer service 2009-06-30 |

I bought my pair in last month and after a month of regular usage, sound from both earbuds has become barely audible. Even with the volume turned way up, the sound stay very low. The initial sound quality was good, but what's the use if they can't last a month.
What's worse is that their customer service seems to have gone missing too! I emailed their customer service for help a week ago but no response. Their toll-free number just goes to voicemail no matter when I call and no response either after leaving a voicemail.

| I bought these mostly based on looks... to go with a black mp3 player and my black laptop while still having some girly pink accents. I was pretty disappointed in the audio quality! I guess most people don't notice the fuzziness on the bass while using these, but I found it distracting. I recommend going for the Sony Fontopia earbuds instead - cheaper and the sound quality is superb. I'm sure these are fine for some people, but I like my music crisp and clear. Also, regarding the sizes - I must have tiny ears, because even when I use the smallest size, after about an album's worth of listening, my ear canal is irritated. I'll still use these as a second resort, but they won't be my first choice in earbuds. |

Two weeks after i bought these headphones they quite working and the JLab company will not respond to my emails or answer my six phone calls.

At this price I knew I had very little to loose and decided to try the JBuds J2 Premiums and they don't disappoint.
They are rugged, ultra-comfortable and sound fantastic for the pittance I paid for them. Love the sizes to chose from to customize the fit.
Am getting a pair as a gift to give away I like them so much. |
